Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a program funded by both the federal government and Fairfield University that provides part-time employment to undergraduate students who have significant financial need. Off-ÂúÃÃÊÓƵ Federal Work-Study (NWS)

Fairfield University partners with local community agencies to provide eligible Federal Work Study students additional employment opportunities. Community service jobs contribute to improving the quality of life for both the local community and its residents. These jobs also provide students with valuable work experience in their desired field of study, and the opportunity to network and build relationships in the community both professionally and personally.

Note: Federal Work Study (FWS) jobs at local community agencies are located off-campus. Students must have their own transportation.

Non-Work Study (NWS)

Non-Work Study jobs are available to active, undergraduate students enrolled at least half-time during a regular semester at Fairfield University. (Half-time is equivalent to six credit hours for undergraduate students.)

Graduate students attending at least half-time may apply for non-work study jobs that are open to graduate level students.
